SMS Opt-In Process

Program Name: Listo Account Notifications — Verta Technologies LLC

This page documents how end users consent to receive SMS (text) messages from Listo, a product of Verta Technologies LLC. It is published as verification evidence of our opt-in flow for carriers, messaging partners, and campaign reviewers.

Program Description

Listo sends transactional SMS messages only, related to the user’s own account and business activity: account verification codes, job and appointment updates, scheduling reminders, invoice notifications, billing alerts, and payment confirmations. Listo does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.

How Users Opt In

Consent is collected exclusively on the public Listo signup page at https://app.listo.works/signup. During account registration:

  • The user enters their name, email address, and mobile phone number.
  • The user is shown a separate, optional SMS consent checkbox that is unchecked by default. The user must affirmatively check the box to opt in.
  • SMS consent is not a condition of purchase or of creating an account. Users who leave the box unchecked can still register and use Listo.
  • The checkbox disclosure states the types of messages sent, that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, that users may reply STOP to opt out, and that users may reply HELP for assistance.
  • The disclosure links to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Opt-In Confirmation Message

Upon opting in, users receive the following confirmation message:

“Listo: You have successfully opted in to receive SMS notifications for job updates, reminders, and billing alerts. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.”

Opting Out and Getting Help

  • Users may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. No further messages will be sent after opting out.
  • Users may reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact support@vertatec.com.
  • Users may re-subscribe at any time by replying START.

Privacy and Data Sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except as necessary to deliver messages through our SMS service providers.
